Charlotte Caines - Receptionist

I have worked in many different industries over the last 18 years on reception, but have to say dentistry is my favourite. It’s so interesting!

I enjoy meeting new people and seeing the regulars, so being front of house on reception is perfect for me.

In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, family time is very important to me. We have so many laughs together!

If you were marooned on a desert island, what luxury item would you take with you, and who would you like to be marooned with? 

My luxury item would have to be my moisturiser so my skin doesn’t dry out. I’d like to be marooned with a chef so they can make me nice food, they would know what to forage for.

On a long haul flight, who would you like to sit next to from any period in history? 

I’d like to be sat next to my dad who sadly passed away when I was 18. I’d like to have a good catch up and tell him how amazing his grandchildren are.

What is your least favourite vegetable and why? 

I like all vegetables, but I’m not a fan if they are overcooked and mushy.

If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose and why? 

I’d be Elle Woods from Legally Blonde, this character defies the stereotypes with her pink world and bubbly personality to then become a very successful lawyer.

What is your favourite film? 

My favourite film is Grease.

What do you have an irrational fear of? 

Spiders.. Yuk!

What did you buy with your first pay cheque? 

I bought my Nan a pair of shoes that she liked.

If you could have a super power, what would it be and why? 

My super power would be super speed, I’ve always got lots to do and not enough hours in the day, so if I was faster, my jobs would all be done in no time.

If you didn’t work here, what would your ideal job be? 

I’d like to sell houses abroad, big mansions.

My favourite song is ‘I will always love you’ by Whitney Houston.
